festival of light

it's "TIHAR" or festival of light, it goes for 4 days, each day they worship different things or objects, dogs are worshipped, sisters and money are also worshipped etc, here the whole of nepal worships their sisters, the sisters sings and people give them money, so we joined in only out of respect and of course minus the worshipping.

sadhus

we went to a temple called "pashupatinath", not quite sure what it means but pashu means "animal" and inside the temple there was plenty of animals that lives in harmony, cows, dogs and monkeys and we saw snakes swimming in a river that goes through the temple, more interestingly though this temple is where corpses gets cremated. those blokes in yellow half naked and make ups are called sadhus or monks and they're supposed to dedicated their live to their gods. i took some pictures of corpses but not sure it's appropriate to post it, still contemplating, anyhow there's that royal enfield bullet machismo that i rented. i tell you they ride better than my hyosung.

road trip to nagarkot kathmandu

i rented the enfield bullet bike and rode with jimi up the mountains to nagarkot, he rode his scootie nova, it was the best ride i ever went thru so far, although afterwards i had a sore thumb, i dont think i have ever used the horn that much in my life....negotiating the street of kathmandu was terrifying, it felt like the buses were just inches from my face and i must've "shat" in my pants coz it "stank" or was it the city........none the less the bullet was a nice bike to ride.....
